Surfers Against Sewage Beach Clean 28-31 March

Started by Started by: johng
Read here about the SAS Beach Clean. Who's up for an OMWC Cleanup on one of our frequented beaches e.g. Esso Beach at Hayling? We did this a few years ago (thanks Beth!), and it was a great success.

Ideas for target beaches please. We don't have to affiliate ourselves to the SAS effort, as we have our own insurance etc.

I'd be happy to join in - not sure about the dates you've listed but I can do the SAS weekend (29-30 March) or the previous one. Audrey

Apologies about the date mixup - no idea what I was smoking! Corrected the dates, and yes, let's do it!

Beth - last time did you buy bags, gloves etc? How did that work?

I worked through hayling beach and havant and they provided bags and collectors

I suspect we'll be around! Don't think we're away anywhere - so why not.

Hi all - weather forecast sunny and E wind for Sat am - how about meeting at Esso Beach for an impromptu clean-up, say 11.00? Bring your own gloves! I'll make it an event - let's see who turns up!
Cheers

Slight change of plan - aiming for 13.00 arrival (lower tide, van in repair shop needs to be picked up!)

BRING YOUR OWN GLOVES!
