Their website

Located a couple of miles from the junction of the M25 - M4 , making it easy to get too. It's 80 feet high so you are above most buildings which makes it good for catching the wind and approximately one mile in diameter, and with Windsor Castle in view at the far end, you can sail in sight of royalty. Works well in just about every direction apart from easterlies , just too gusty and offshore. Parking is right next to the water and there is a grass bank to rig on. Hot showers, food and loos are also available. Duncan and Nigel sail there regularly along with some of the North Devon crew, so there is a good friendly atmosphere. On a windy day there can even be enough chop and swell to get a bit of air time!! It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays apart from school holidays when it is open every day.

Datchet Watersports will rent gear, so this is a good way to get started without committing to buying gear. It works a bit like an annual Gym membership, or you can buy a block of 10 hours. It worked out about the same as the cost of per year as out Nuffield Gym, or the cost of a 2nd user rig of windsurf gear. Datchet Watersports is a sailing school, located at the reservoir, and there is also the separate Datchet Sailing Club, which I didn't investigate.
