Got out during the largest gust of the day, obviously, BUT it was the first sail of the day, and in the sun. Just lovely to be out after what felt like a long winter.

Beautiful sunny day, had a few blasts before the wind dropped off. Definitely worth getting wet for! Good to see Yannis down with his family and the new van. Fun party in the evening.

The perfect start to the season warm sunny & windy, full on 6.0m weather. Having made a few minor adjustments to the board & sail from the last time I used it, it is now starting to feel more tuned, and having dropped a stone in weight recently ( not out of choice) I could certainly feel the difference. Nice to see some of the regular's & Duncan out, what an enjoyable day.

Epic start of the year! Had a great day sailing - from idling to overpowered in 2.5 hours with a nice sweet, long middle bit when the kit was perfect for the conditions. Elsewhere, kids found friends to play with (thank you Jonathan for bringing the family), Sarah played house in the van and we even went camping on Saturday night. I also managed to pull a few gybes without having reviewed any of my notes! We missed Heather and Bill's drink-a-thon on Saturday night, but I think John honoured it.

Sunny again!! Rigged 5.5 while others went bigger - good call John. I was almost overpowered by the end, so B&H were defo a bit stressed on their 6.5s... Some chop hops, a few gybes which improved over the sesh, and one giant get-off involving over-enthusiastic gybe entry, a gust, and the "bouncing along the water on the back before sinking without trace" approach. Even rode down a few ramps on the way in, although not exactly waves.

Super thanks to H&B for a well-hosted event.

Hurray! More please.

What a day. Sunshine and wind as promised! Good to catch up with friends on the beach. Started off fine - had fun. However, wind kept on building and I was well overpowered by the time I came off the water.

Wow, great weekend!! Sunny, windy(-ish), party, what's not to like??
Saturday got out in the only gust of the day, on a 5.5 (what else?) because it was sunny, others followed by the wind dropped off. A pleasant, no, actually way beyond pleasant - ecstatic! - evening with B&H to celebrate Bill's coming of age, with excellent food and salsa/merengue/bachata till late.
Sunday - still sunny! More wind! 5.5 was almost overpowered later on, no waves really bit of swell, but utterly marvellous to be out on the sea with sun and people 'n' stuff. This might have been the the last sunny and windy weekend of the year, Andrew!!
