Thought I was quite early today but had been beaten by Heather, Bill and Andrew. However arrived just as the heavens opened - a good opportunity to get a guided tour of Andrew's brand new van.
As the rain switched off, so did the wind. It returned, albeit somewhat less windy.
The 5.9 was the perfect size and kept me going nicely. The sun appeared and made it a very pleasant afternoon.

Well I spose I can claim this as a diary. Wasn't out on the water for long, but it was fun while it lasted. Arrived to find 4.5 weather, but while I was rigging up (aka faffing) the rain came through and completely killed the wind, then it slowly built back up again, so got out on the FSW and 5.5 for a while, then stopped for lunch, etc, then it all got a bit too gnarly for me.

A fantastic weekend, with a good crowd at the Yew Tree on Saturday evening, then all back to Heather and Bills. Thanks H and B for more excellent hosting.

First thing in the morning I was on the small board and sail - great fun. The rain then came and the wind dropped- so had lunch, hung around and chatted until the wind kindly picked up again. The wind was not as strong so got out the 92L board and that was perfect. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable day. Fun evening in the Yew Tree followed by a gathering at home - finally hit the sack about 3.30am!
