Not for experienced, childless windsurfers looking for non-stop action.

But...

Perfect for families looking to learn or improve their basic windsurfing and/or sailing skills.

The 'Hot Shots' club keeps the kids busy for the whole week with RYA-endorsed windsurfing and Laser Pico activities. RYA stage 1/2 certificates are awarded by the end of the week.

Range of windsurfing kit available is not massive, but perfectly adequate for beginners and intermediate sailors who have yet to develop particular preferences. Harnesses are available for free and also you don't have to sign kit out or in; you just grab whatever kit you want, whenever you want it.

Wind generally blows off-shore, so coming in requires some tight tacking. It's all pretty safe though, as three yellow buoys define the (adequately large) permitted sailing area and should you drift outside it, a bunch of support boats will happily bring you back.

There is also tons of other stuff to do (fitness, cycling, yoga, kite-surfing, catamarans, running, SUPing, etc.) so a week can go by really fast. But again, if all you are after is a daily serving of 15+ knots, look elsewhere.
