considering kbay, anyone interested?

Given the state of the tide (high water at 11:14), the wind direction (west or north west) and the fact it gets dark so early now, I will probably head for Hillhead or Lee on Solent. Although I will look at it again tomorrow morning, if it's going a bit more westerly I may go to Hayling, but I wouldn't expect to get out until 1:30.

WILL MAKE DESCISION IN THE MORNING, BUT LEE ON SOLENT OR HAYLING SOUNDS GOOD. WANT TO GO WHERE MOST CLUB MEMBERS ARE GOING

We were also thinking of heading across to Lee on Solent / Hillhead in the morning (Saturday). Had a good sail earlier today in XC harbour in a NW, but it was pretty gusty. Forecast looks like Saturday will be more of the same so I was hoping for some slightly cleaner wind at LOS / HH. See you there maybe - I'll probably even be early now I have the pooch to get me up.

I suspect I will go for Hillhead as well. If it swings too far northerly we could always try Titchfield Haven - might make a bit of a change?

so, can we confirm from those interested
LEE ON SOLENT or HILL HEAD
I prefer Lee on solent, better sheltered for rigging.

Bonsoir

Wind guru is (as of Friday eve) forecasting WNW
16 knots at 9 am easing to 14 at noon and 13 knots in the afternoon.
So I would prefer Lee on Solent and may come down for the day if I get errands done first thing. Robert

Adrian - I probably won't be very early so will follow your lead. I reckon Hillhead might be better given the angle of the wind - but if you are at LoS I will join you there (unless it is pants). But am also quite keen to give Titchfield Haven another go (carry on past Hillhead, past the Osbourne View, past the small marina and then you launch opposite Calshot - almost cross-shore to any North / North-West wind)

I'll head for Lee On Solent first then and if you're not there check Hillhead or the nature reserve.
