There was a Boards article a couple of months back about masts not being all the same.....A constant curve is not a constant curve! So is yours not as stiffer as you thought? Or would your sail would really benefit from a flexitop?! Well you'll never know unless we check it out!
We must have more than a good selection between us and what with all eMpring's excellent rope we have the means to do bend comparison tests.
So I think we should get out some masts and compare them, starting with:
370/16 Arrows
400/19 Gun
460/25 Amex
490/29 Amex
520/34 Gun
How about measuring some 460s and some 430s to check the hype.
As I might be buying I would like to test Tushy YES AMEX Gun, but lets see what interest is out there.

Sounds like the sort of thing that might be fun to mess about with on a windless sunny day but I can't see much opportunity until well into next year.
I'd be happy to volunteer my collection of masts for any (non destructive) testing !!!
