Friday anyone?

Started by Started by: jonathan
Guess who has Thursday and Friday booked off work (ostensibly for Xmas shopping and decorating) just as a low pressure comes across!!

Friday is shaping up very well - with windguru forecasting 28 knot southwesterlies and temperatures of up to 14c.

I am thinking of heading to Hayling to make sure there will be others out. Low tide is early (9am) so morning is probably the best time to sail. Think the afternoon could get a bit scary!

Anyone else up for it??

not planning on heading east of Bournemouth myself, but in case anyone's interested in joining me, here are my plans for a long (and windy) weekend...

Friday (11/12-ish): Sandbanks / Hook sands (good at mid-tide)
Saturday (11-ish): Kimmeridge
Sunday (11-ish): Lynmouth, N Devon (not confirmed yet, but Saunton looks way too impractical for a westerly). If things get too big, we could end up going to Minehead instead.
