Sadly not much wind, but lots of sun - I was sailing in board shorts on Sunday:) A good turn out considering the lack of breeze and we had a good evening on Saturday in the Globe. Most people didn't sail and chose to join the holiday makers on the beach. I took the opportunity to grab some light wind freestyle practise despite the disappointing winds and tried to hone my heli tacks and duck gybes. Carl joined me on Sunday to work on his push tacks. The Bournemouth Air Festival provided some additional entertainment with a low flying Lancaster Bomber being the highlight.

My push tacks are going to need a lot more work, it looked so simple in the pictures too.

The highlight of my day was being able to clean my van in the Avon Beach car park....Bernie

Sorry we missed it - I would have joined in the heli and duck action! One of my favourite summer day sailing activities, thanks to Duncan's enthusiasm and coaching in the past. But I notice that you are wearing a full length wettie TC - were you worried about getting sunburnt?

No, just a bit of a wimp when it comes to getting cold. I braved it in just boardies on Sunday though.
