Big Sunday

Started by Started by: beth
Hey all - it looks like Sunday is going to be a day with wind and waves. I hope to make it to Outer Bournemouth Reef (code name for Kbay) OR at least Bracklesham. There is no event this weekend, but it would be good to see some warm bodies on the water. Any takers?

Looking good eh! K-Bay might be too onshore if it's WSW but the swell will be good by the looks of the forecast! Out that way Highcliff could be firing and Avon is side-side-off in a WSW so long as it is not too W. Pagham could be good as the tide is on the push all afternoon with high tide around dusk - so the mid tide sweet spot during the afternoon! Just hope the 3m swell can get in there? Shoreham and Hove will be good and also Camber...lots of options this weekend!! :)

Hi Beth and Kiwi - Has the kiwi got wings again yet? We won't be able to get to drive so far away as the bay of K but Bracklesham, Pagham sound good. Give us a call a little closer to Sunday to firm up the best spot. Would love to sail with you again Beth!

Forecast doesn't look quite as good as before, but Sat could be a good day at Pagham and Sunday Bracklesham. We could have dinner on Hayling at our house or Inn on the Beach...any ideas?

OK - We are going to Pagham now, Sat am lunchtime, as the tide will be high in the afternoon - with the kiwi and JG - hopefully Beth can join us there and Justin and Steve and anyone else interested
Forecast is for F4-5 then 5-7. with swell.

The local shop www.larwatersports.co.uk/ says he is closing for 2 so he can join everyone on the water, so get there earlier if you want some winter boots etc
