Would this be a Christmas party happening before Christmas or Megabash type event sometime in the New Year?

We'd be up for a party, although might not be a late one for us.

Hi everyone - we have thought about 23 January - not too far into the ski season, not too close to valentines day, and long enough after xmas and new year that we all want some more fun again! We will have our own partying space, music and sportsbar action, and for planning purposes: the meals need to be organised by the week before, and we will have hot showers (so if it is windy we can go sailing) and vans can park up overnight, and the reasons for blocking out the 23rd and even the whole weekend just go on and on and on and on....more details about to be posted shortly !!!

Sounds good to me. Count me in for 2 seats for the nosebag. With the Inn on the Beach having been refurbished it looks like a really nice place now and will make a nice change from the Hayling Squash Club. Gens post above re: dates makes perfect sense to me.

Thanks for the response everyone - it's good to see there is a real need for a winter bash. What we will probably do is charge a fee for the room and music with everyone ordering their meal ahead of time from the online menu. We will also confirm overnight parking at the Inn if needed. I'm hoping we can get some music for dancing along with the meal. As Gen said Jan 23rd is the current date. We will need commitment a week before the event to ensure your food orders are available etc...but please keep up the comments and ideas so we can make this a good one.

We're up for an evening out - doesn't need to be too OTT though - few beers, bit of a chat - easily pleased.

And for the menu - do we just let you know our chosen entree/main/dessert from the Inn on the beach main menu?

You are welcome - just order from Inn on the Beach ahead of time as you may not get your food at the same time as the rest of us.
