There are three windsurfing venues on Hayling but only the seafront is a serious contender as a venue worth visiting regularly. The other venues are only suitable in emergency situations, when it is impossible to windsurf on the sea front and, believe me, these situations arise! OMWC events often coincide with the Hayling Windsurf Car Boot Fair, on the first Sunday of the month, now held in the large car park behind the big dipper in the funfair with the Carousel cafe adjacent serving excellent breakfasts (thanks Stan!).

Hi all- Lol and I are hosting this weekend. Lol will be at Hayling on Sat and Sun- he drives a blue renault espace. I'll be down in a purple fiesta with Xavier (unless its raining!). Sat eve will be at the Yew Tree pub (on the LHS before the roundabout as you are driving through Hayling). Mike has provisionally booked a table - if you know you are definately coming for the eve meal -please let me know - just so I have an idea of numbers. Apparently they are pretty flexible there. Hopefully there will be tons of wind along with sun this weekend!! See you there.
