Hayling Island
There are three windsurfing venues on Hayling but only the seafront is a serious contender as a venue worth visiting regularly. The other venues are only suitable in emergency situations, when it is impossible to windsurf on the sea front and, believe me, these situations arise! OMWC events often coincide with the Hayling Windsurf Car Boot Fair, on the first Sunday of the month, now held in the large car park behind the big dipper in the funfair with the Carousel cafe adjacent serving excellent breakfasts (thanks Stan!).

A Quick round up of what's on offer this weekend
The forecast is unreliable at the moment. There could be strong wind on Sunday, probably wet as well. At the moment the beeb have wind for late Saturday afternoon, but I wouldn't expect much.
Saturday night is the H-aleing event, see Bill's comments below.
Sunday morning is the Hayling boot fair.
And finally, don't forget the A3 is closed around Hindhead all weekend, ugh. See my comment below.

It's the ale-ing fest next weekend (1st/2nd Oct). Range of beers and ciders to try with a band. Saturday evening tickets are £7.50 in advance, £9 on the day. Hopefully sail during the day and then we could have fish and chips with the odd glass of cava at our place before strolling round to the Community centre. Plenty of parking near us.

Sailed Pagham Friday- Force 8 winds. great conditions, but I ended up getting injured. Looking forward to afull on weekend of sport and fun. Hope to see everyone down for a great weekend.
