Stuff to take to Cabo Verde

A list of things we should have brought because they would make things easier, or did but not enough!

Toilet rolls - lots! Don't weigh much but come in handy, pricy here
Box of tissues - can leave it behind when you're done, but great there
Porridge - we got through a kilo in 5 days for four
Nuts and dried fruit - very handy for snacks and breakfast
Jam - expensive!! Decant into plastic container to save weight
Straws for drinks, particularly caipirinhas
Duck tape!! Unless Duncan goes too, cos he has some
Good quality elastoplast, cos lesser brands don't stick
Ted Baker deodorant, because it keeps Rog and Dunc occupied, often for minutes at a time
Gloves - you never know, and handy to keep the dressings on?
Immodium and Dioralyte - ask Rog
Eyewash - Gen got gritted and ended up going to the clinic
CDs for copies of photos!!
Honey - bootleg honey would be worth bringing, costs a fortune here
