Pagham 4-5 June
Pagham
Pagham is one of the better sideshore spots on the south coast as it faces SE which gives sideshore and kicks up some mellow waves in S-SSW-SW directions. Also one of the few south coast venues which is not bad in a NE-E, because the beach faces south-east. Best sailed mid tide on the push for waves.

We will as usual plan to go to the nice pub the walnut tree at east runcton (at the roundabout on your way towards the beach - see venues for details). Vannies can usually park there overnight if we eat and drink, the host is a great guy. The food and drink at this pub is gastronomically superior to many of our usual haunts, so is worth a visit just for that. A nice outside seating area/garden which can help entertain the tiny tots until sundown if you need it. we do.
Saturday, we will turn up about lunchtime. We will be at the bird reserve. Call us.

Yes, looks like Pagham is the place to be (although Maui would be warmer)

For once the forecast is right for a Pagham weekend - especially sunday, a bit wet though.
