Kev came from the isle of wight, juan's parents came from spain, (Steve G came from Hayling with his mum a little later ) and we all walked around the internationally renowned birdlife sanctuary of Pagham together, enjoying the sunshine and breeze. Unfortunately, the breeze was not quite enough. The waves at the harbour mouth were tempting, but no, not enough wind to survive that hourbour inlet valve current. We retired to the pub in east Runcton to enjoy the savoury delights and bar while sitting in the green garden with the boys playing merry havoc and pirates on the bentover tree. Very nice. Not quite the nice day of sailing that the forecast tempted us with, but a lovely day at the beach. Kev's Van later suffered a carburetter failure so we hope he got home to bed ok.
