Morning was wet and grotty so decided to wait for the second low tide. What a result. The sun came out, the wind stayed - lovely! Started on the the 78 L for the first hour. As it became a more beautiful, sunny afternoon the wind dropped slightly so changed to the 92L and continued to plane in the sunshine. Bliss.

Woke to such a miserable morning we just weren't up for Bramblebush so stayed home and got on with cleaning and jobs. However by late afternoon the sun came out, a solid force 6 came in, so headed local to Hillhead. If anyone believes windsurfing is a dying sport should have been down there - unbelievable how many people were out.

Got down early with Matt & Andy. Rigged large as wind only 22knots. By midday wind had picked up and also rain stopped. Rigged 8.1 and screamed around all afternoon until I hit a line in the water which stopped me dead. Mast came down on the nose with a bang splitting the front end of the board. (Carbon boards for you). Borrowed Matts JP 106 board and 6.1 and was still powered up. Great day......

A strong wind but Westerly and too offshore at the beach, fortunately it was high tide so off to the pond side for some semi-planing wymaroo training. The only problem was the semi planing part, it was too windy, so just gave up on that and went for some flat water forwards. Got the kit fully round once, but came out of the straps as usual (must tighten them up) most of the time I just got half way, still have some work to do on this when the wind is a bit lighter.

Nice late afternoon sail. Started off as perfect wave board weather but after a while wind dropped a notch and had to change down to 95l board. Great sail.

Sailed at Esso due to tide and wind direction. Very up and down with some stinging rain thrown in!

Due to tide times went to Esso beach. Wind was very up and down as was the weather. I came off at one point to hide under the sail because the rain was so painful on my face - or, maybe I'm just a wimp!? At other times the sun was out. Still, it wasn't cold so a pleasant enough sail if not epic.
