Saturday was a lazy start. Adam and Martin beat me and Bill to the beach. Nice sunny day but no wind to speak of. Camilla and Justin arrived - making the most of the time before baby arrives. Justin kept us amused on (and off!) his SUP. Late Tate was relatively early - beating Andrew and Audrey. I went for a swim with my Mum when she came down closer to high tide -very pleasant.

6 of us made it to the Carvery down the road. Good food and company. Only negative was they decided to close early and were rather brusque about it - may look for another venue next time.

Sunday was a whole different ball game. Mad rigging frenzy as all the people from Saturday were keen to get on the water. Martin was on the water first and made the most of the shallow water to practice beach starts and as well as doing some very impressive tacks. Late Tate, Audrey and Andrew were on the water pretty sharpish too. Only bad thing was Andrew lost a fin! Windy Worthing did it again with some quite big swells too! We were all kept going by cake supplied by Mum - thanks! Those of you that weren't there missed a good one. See you next time.

Fab days sailing in the sunshine with OMWC pals. Should really have changed to my 5.5 m but was having fun depite being overpowered so why waste sailing time rigging!

How often do you see me on a smaller sail than Heather! To be fair I was switching from my 5.7, which was great when the wind picked up, to my 7.4 when it eased off a bit, but really wished I had something in between! The bods from the sailing club were saying it was blowing 24 knots - no wonder I was finding the 7.4 a bit of a handful! Still a great day and a most enjoyable weekend. Many thanks Heather for hosting - and Heathers Mum for all the cake!

Fantastic afternoon at wonderful windy wavy worthing.

Started on big kit (130l and 6.6m), which was just perfect for an hour or so, then the wind came up a bit more, tried the 6.6 on a smaller board, but still felt overpowered, so changed down to 5.5 and had a super afternoon.
