Didn't think there would be enough wind but as it was such a lovely warm day I decided to rig anyway. Good decision. Had a lovely sail. Needed to pump a little to get on the plane but easy enough. Enjoyed the long runs along the beach as it was a southerly. Wind then dropped a little so went in for a swim. Great day. Good to see Juan, Gen and the boys too.

Started off the weekend at East Fleet campsite, near Weymouth, on Friday night with Helen and Campervan, and had a lovely walk from Abbotsbury on Saturday, followed by Saturday night in Weymouth. Stayed in the car park at Ferrybridge on Saturday night and woke up to Force 4 in Portland Harbour. Helen had a great day on a 6m and 108l board, and I had a great blast too. Wind dropped at 3'ish so we packed up in some glorious sunshine, which seems to be the precursor for this week's forthcoming Indian Summer.

After much pondering of forecasts, decided to go for Hillhead. Met John G on the beach. It was ok in a planing sort of blobbing sort of way, would have been better with a bigger board, must check ebay again.

Wind was up and down a lot, so was difficult to choose a rig, but had some great runs, and a lot of wobbling....

Seemed like a good idea, Chimet was lying as usual... Had some reasonable fun with the wind up and down. Got back to the beach to find someone had nicked my Crocs, so I had a very uncomfortable walk up the beach and spent some time looking for the miscreant! Not a positive end to the day.
