As Heather and Bill are off for the half term hols I've volunteered to step in to host the final planned Hayling event for this season. It's the weekend the clocks go back but that shouldn't affect us to much. I'll provide an update a few days before the event when I have an idea what the weather might be doing but the plan at the moment will be to go to the Yew Tree on Saturday night - but watch this space - it could all change! Well, I'm afraid the forecast for the weekend isn't too encouraging! It's supposed to be a lovely day on Saturday, although 10 degrees colder than today with some decent winds (F3) - but northerly. I think I'll be in the garden! The wind is supposed to swing round to westerly on Sunday but dropping off (F2) with extensive cloud cover and possibly some rain - meaning it will be a good few degrees warmer. I think I'll be sitting in front of a roaring log fire! I'm going to brave it but whether I get on the water tomorrow remains to be seen. Sunday is looking more promising for wind direction but rain as Mike has said. Nick 07970 938858
