Hot and sunny but very little wind. Adrian and Lawrence both had a good sail on Saturday morning, both on huge kit. A few of us got out Saturday afternoon, very pleasant in the unusually warm weather but not even enough to get planing. Even less wind on Sunday, most of us hung around the Hayling boot fair in the morning then went home.

Not a very dynamic sail, but so good to get back on the water after such a long break.

Ah, the boot fair!! Resisted the temptation of Pete Darcy's Hypersonic (still available if you want to contact him and make an offer for a hardly used board), only to fall foul of the used carbon boom, courtesy of the Bank of Andrew. Andrew was grateful because my cleaning him out meant he was unable to increase his own collection of used composites...

Adrian and Laurence were planing Saturday early afternoon so went out but wind dropped and never got going. Only consellation was that it was a glorious warm sunny day. Went to the boot fair on the sunday and bought a new 4.2m Tushingham Rock and Pete D'Arcy's second hand 9.5m Rushwind.
