Super Sunday. Forecast all looked a bit dodgy a few days ago, but we had an excellent Sunday afternoon. Good turn out as well.

Sailed at Lee on Solent early in case the wind dropped. Well powered up on 6.7m 93 litre board, couple hours later I ripped the sail and came in only to meet Robert, Carl & Marion who had just turned up. The wind swung northerley so we all moved to Hillhead. Met Duncan there who was sailing but just came in to change down from 6.5 to 5.4 (good sign there was more wind here). But within 15 minutes the wind swung more northerly and appeared to drop. Met Jonathan and we all decided to move to Titchfield where the wind was cross shore and appeared windier. Andrew arrived there to keep Marion company as they both did not sail. Sailed on 5.4 (biggest sail I had) into the afternoon as the wind slowly dropped.

As predicted if the weather was horrible then there was a good chance of wind, and yes the weather was horrible.

Big congratulations to Bernie Mc and Helen H, who got married yesterday. Now off to Lanzarote for a windsurfing honeymoon.
