Christchurch
Christchurch is a spectacular location on the Dorset coast, protected by the mile long Hengistbury Head the natural harbour offers relatively flat-water, excellent for learning or for days when the wind is off-shore at the beach. Alternatively, Avon Beach and Steamer Point offer great open sea sailing within Christchurch Bay

Lepe & Calshot
We like it here! This is another one of those venues where Jo Public windsurfer rarely ventures and we usually have the entire place to ourselves (plus a few day trippers but it is rarely crowded). If there is wind in The Solent, it is usually one Beaufort stronger here because of the prominent position, being the closest point to The Isle of Wight.

Poole
Poole is one of the best windsurfing areas in England for beginners and intermediates due to the enormous expanse of shallow flat water in the harbour. There is plenty of variety for experts too. OMWC events are held at a number of different venues in Poole, so make sure you check the event information for the precise location where we will be meeting. Should the wind be in the wrong direction, it is easy to switch venues and to find somewhere where the wind is much better.
