Great to sail with RICK, who has dropped in from Gwithian. There is real swell today, with some big sets. The first go was a mess, as the wind dropped as we entered the water and we had to retreat, But not too long and we were setting out again, still a lttle flukey as it was cross-off and hence a little gusty, compared to yesterdays nice clean sideshore. Wave riding where possible, but a little difficult as I keep losing the wind in the bottom of the wave. The kiwi joined in and was smiling so he must have been enjoying it! I exited before a trashing, so we could get back to civilisation for the end of the summer.
