We had great fun in the last of the BST trying to inch offshore with swelly wavy bits in an onshore breeze. Yoli had another go and enjoyed uphauling - quite challenging in the white water bits. A bit showery and the wind came and went, but mostly sunny. The boys loved it. Nice to see Mike Tate, John Gouk, Heather and Bill, Jonathon, Adrian, Trevor and quite a few others - but we didn't see Ian?

Yeah, top marks to Yoli! I'm amazed at the tenacity of beginners! Windsurfing must be really addictive or something...

This was my most enjoyable wave day ever, with comfy windspeed, sunshine and long lines of nicely shaped waves arriving regularly on the sandbar and spreading across the bay for a reasonable distance. On one ride, I notched up the most turns ever, with 7, yes 7, turns, and probably some spray on the early one, but I won't have the video footage to know...YAY - thanks for getting me on the water and giving me a lift home John G, as the boys appreciated their nap!!!That was the best early xmas present EVER
