Overpowered, which was a real pest when trying to turn on the waves. But what delicious waves!!!SE swell rolling in quite big and rising on the sandbar. Thanks to Sydney and Tim, I had lots of tips on what to try - one handed stroking the wave when going up the wave and I lost count of all the turns on these unusually long lovely waves. Beth and I had a good go at using every ounce of the day. Amazing that you just don't notice the cold when it is sunny and gorgeous like this - even Beth said that! I did learn that you just can't try back loops with such big gear. If only I had taken my 5.4 and 78L, but the rule in winter has always been to make sure you can plane as it is cold to be sitting around in the water! Roger missed out, babysitting Amelie - you could see the pain in his eyes. Juan and John had a great time. I was inspired and later shopped online for a new single thruster and 6.1 atlas or firefly.
