Arrived early to find the wind had dropped. Matt & I rigged big but within an hour the wind had picked right up. Usual storey of could'nt be bothered to change down so spent the whole day maxed out on 9mtr but having great fun racing up & down.

Joined Cribby's early morning sail from Poole to Mudeford.
Force 4 with plenty of sunshine. Sailed 3 miles out to see and then gybed across to Mudeford chasing Guy, but just could'nt quite catch him coming in 4th.
Got a lift back to Poole and then spent the afternoon blasting up and down with Matt in the harbour.

Matt & I decided to take the afternoon off and sail at Sandbanks again. Plenty off wind but water very flat for great blasts. Matt now planing with the harness.

Got there early and I think I got the best of the wind and sun.
Flat water with plenty of speed in the board.
Took my son Matt for his very first lesson, but I wanted the big board for my fun, so rigged him a 5.5 and a 93L board.
He's realised that size does matter between his legs.
Maybe I'll get him a larger board for next time.......
Good to see a few old faces again
