Wind picked up today, but stuck with the 7.5m as I wanted to sail with Eva and stay close. Eva did amazingly well. She graduated to the next level of windsurfing (almost planed!)

Later on I practised fast-tacks on lumpy waters. That head-turn got me out of trouble most times. I even planed for a bit. What a treat!

Kids practised more with the Laser Picos. I found out that they will get RYA certificates on Friday. Awesome!

Also, reading Jonathan's adventures in Lanzarote. None of that 5m nonsense happening here!

Same conditions. Sailed with Lucas in the afternoon which was most excellent!

Realised how important is the exaggerated head turn when exiting fast-tacks. It literally transformed the move!

Same conditions. Decided to learn heli-tacks. Landed on my ear in my second attempt and almost burst my ear-drum. Maybe not this year.

Sames conditions today. A bit more wind to get the lighter guys going, but a largish fella like myself needed that extra push that never realised.

Practised more of the usual.

Kids started sailing Laser Picos for the first time.

First day out. It's so hot and humid in Sardinia this week that the sea offers the only sanctuary around here.

Not enough wind to get going, so sailed gently back and forth across the bay practising the usual. Fast-tacking a big sail was a first!

Wind offshore, so needed to fast-tack my way in within the narrow permitted area between swimmers and Lasers.
