Took the Thursday morning off work to scoot down very early to Avon beach to catch the wind and tide.
Got on the water for 9 AM and had a very good 2 1/2 hrs of F6 cross shore with 1metre swell - just 2 of us out - good fun messing around with some (if small) down the line wave riding!

Took the afternoon off work and headed for Avon beach. Excellent 3 hours of playing in the waves with warm wind and water and blue skies - thought, hey! Where are we? A bit overpowered on a 5 m at times but generally very good. Drove home happy and with knackered arms!
