Hayling came up with the goods again despite a forecast to the contrary. Sun came out and the wind picked up SW. Started on my 92L board and 5.5m sail. Blasted off the water! Couldn't be bothered to re rig so just got out the wave board cranked on the down haul and outhaul and off I went like a rocket. Fantastic. Should really have changed to a 4.5 or 4m sail as Bill ended up on a 5m but what the hell - I had great fun in the sunshine and didn't waste any time on the water. Tired and happy.

Fantastic sail in the sunshine. Lots of people out enjoying the great conditions.

Morning was wet and grotty so decided to wait for the second low tide. What a result. The sun came out, the wind stayed - lovely! Started on the the 78 L for the first hour. As it became a more beautiful, sunny afternoon the wind dropped slightly so changed to the 92L and continued to plane in the sunshine. Bliss.

Fantastic. On water by 8.15 am. Blasting away at low tide with 92L board in the sunshine. Finally - madly overpowered so changed to 78L board which made things more manageable. Finally finished about 3 hours from start completely knackered but smiling!!

Fantastic conditions - wind and waves. Unfotunately, even with the 4m, I was overpowered so didn't stay out.

Started on my 92L board but quickly found that this was far too bouncy!! Wind very gusty - such that even with 78L & 4.5m sail I was often overpowered. Still - good fun but certainly not comfortable sailing.

First sail of the season. Certainly a baptism of fire but great fun. Surprisingly the lesser spotted Bill was seen on the water -very rare at this time of year. Shows that it was surprisingly mild. A very good warm up for the Club AGM and social!
