The day started out really well with Michael rigging three sails for me - what an angel. Me completely stressed out. I was on my 1994 NewZealand speed needle for the first race with 4.7. I actually jybed it at the mark, which was waaay too close this year. Some how I pulled a first place for that one.

The second race had Force seven wind, and someone had put their fin through my 4.7, I mistakenly used the 5.2. At the start I was taken out by two separate rigs tumbling in through the head high shore pound. I tried sailing the 5.2 and made it to the mark, but failed to jybe as I was so completely overpowered. Got back up quickly and managed to pull a third place.

The third race again had Force 7 winds and now a ridiculous evil looking shore pound. This time I waited until I thought it was safe, but was mistaken. I was tumbled nastily with someone elses kit hitting my head and leg. That was it for me that day.
