Mike and I went out at Pagham after seeing the pretty good surf at Hayling. We drove there quickly, rigged up and went out. Completely maxed out, but some lovely ramps for jumping and a bit of backside waveriding. Then I did a boardless loop attempt and hit my mast with the side of my head. I could feel blood getting in my eyes so I called in Mike who told me very strongly I was not to sail any more. Poor sport. Went home and cleaned it up - steristrips and no stitches. But then it started to hurt. Hopefully I'll be able to get some good bandages so I can sail on Sunday, monday, ...

Logo high waves - side shore- only a few people out. What more could you ask? Maybe warmer - only 7 degrees.

It was just me and someone else out at Pagham for a long time. Fun little waves that weren't really lining up except for occasionally. A whole lot of people showed up when I had to go in for Rebecca's netball game.

Pagham completely maxed out both windwise and crowdwise. What a scene. A bit of waves however...

Gusty- washing machine. Later the waves lined up a bit more and I actually caught a few. Very crowded.

best waves I've ever seen on the south coast omitting Kimmeridge - but it was a bit too crowded. I sailed like a muppet.

Good to be on the water. REally no waves, but still fun. Great to see lots of OMWC people out. It is now two days later in the middle of a hurricane. Just went down to check the conditions on Hayling - high tide, cold and huge waves....will wait until tomorrow.
