Saturday was windy with a good cowd out on the water. Saturday night was spent in the Forest Home. Sunday was a wash out, no wind and rain.

More socialising than windsurfing but still a pleasant couple of days

Forecast was exceptional for August. Quite a few club members made that extra effort for an after work sail, plus, of course, the usual no-work layabouts.

A fantastic weekend. Arrived about 11.30 to find Andrew already there and Kev and Alison parked up. Sheena, Dave and the kids arrived raring to go! Windy Worthing did it again!! Rigged a 5.5m and on to the 92L board - the size sail was more than enough!! Andrew was first on the water followed by Bill and Sheena by which time Audrey had arrived and was madly rigging!! The Gouk arrived and got rigging as well because it looked so good! Stayed on the water for hours and hours!! Juan and Genevieve arrived and Juan was blasting around with a grin from ear to ear! Kev and Alison did really well - not having experienced sea sailing very much. Clare arrived closely followed by late Tate and Mo!

National Windsurfing Festival this weekend. Includes windsurfing races, clinics, equipment booths, fancy dress competition, SUP races, major party which is also fancy dress. See this weekend's event page for more information.
Has anyone seen the great forecast for Thursday - big swell and real wind. Can anyone get off to one of the better wave spots?

Big congratulations to Bernie Mc and Helen H, who got married yesterday. Now off to Lanzarote for a windsurfing honeymoon.
