I spent a fortnight learning to kite surf, and also had an afternoon at Angulos spot and windsurfed in off shore 15knots.
Once out of the windshadow it was superb, 2k reach into small waves beautiful.
Kiteing at sharks bay was also the dogs B**** 
- the name kinda adds to the ambiance nobody got bit while I was there and I spent a lot of time imitating a tea bag, you know dunk, fly like superman (but screaming as instructor pisses himself "you vant to learn to fly ya?"
, dunk, fly dunk etc etc - guess even sharks are scared by a 90KG geordie bouncing along dragging a tea tray suspended from a power source with no limit and a mind seemingly of its own - great fun and no got hurt - miraculusly!
