Great Windsurf at Hayling Island I was out on a 4.5m sail, overpowered at times and crashed and splashed on most of the turns but I had a fantastic time and can't wait to get out again soon. This is not my first event out this year, I just haven't entered a dairy on any of the others!

After work sail, fun but short. It was scary going out as I don't like taking off but good fun in the swell coming in. Nice to see so many people on the water, the weather was grim so I needed encouragement from others to go out. A nice meal at the Ship made this into a great after work event.

Arrived late but had a good couple of hours on the water. Seaweed effected me a little. I managed to do a few carve gybes- well I stayed on the board so that is good enough for me.

Late entry! Fantastic 2 hours on my new board (Mistral Syncro) it felt great blasting across from Bramble Bush to Brownsea Island, this really is one of the best places to windsurf. The day ended with fish and chips and then a drink or two at the Square and Compass what more could anyone want!

After faffing and then going to Andy Biggs to buy a new mast extention, I managed to get out for a couple of hours at Hillhead, My board was probably too big for the conditions and kept wanting to take off but it was good to be back on the water. I now own a red Toyota Hiace Van which is great for carrying my kit and made a fab changing room. No more changing beside my car while attempting to keep the towel wrapped around me!
It was nice to see Duncan, Neula and Lawrence, it's great news about your camera Lawrence.

Yet another OMWCer been Biggs-ing this weekend... Jon, me and now Clare all spending copiously at the local emporium. Perhaps we should have been more co-ordinated and shopped as a group!

4.5m on 112 litres!!!!!! You should get yourself a proper waveboard Clare, I had a spare one knocking about you could have used but unfortunately I already lent it to someone ;)

Three or four runs on a 4.5m sail, over powered and sh.. scared in the lumpy swell at lee on Solent.
I had a meeting at HillHead that finished at 4.30 so as the forecast was for wind I thought I would take the opportunity for after work sailing. It was a lovely sunny evening but a very short session on the water, I thought I should come back in before it ended in tears, hospital, broken kit or all three!
Kit and body reached the shore in one piece and I was happy to have given it a go.
