Warm day with a good breeze. Reckon I rigged the right sail as wind up and down. Little bump and jump but nothing to get excited about. Good to see some faces from the past.

Arrived mid morning and it was kicking off. Perfect wind and waves. Rigged 4.2 but after changing the wind had dropped and most were coming in. Quickly rigged a 5m but by then the wind had swung more NW and dropped even more. Everyone was off the water and I did'nt fancy in this cold weather being out on my own. Went round to Hayling Sailing club and sailed in Chichester. Wind was freezing.

Wind and swell looking good today so managed to escape and 3. Wind 27 knots but slowly dropping. Arrived at hayling to only 18 knots so rigged biggish. Wind dropped even more when I went out( on my own). Thankfully after 30 mins the wind starts to increase and good fun was had on the sandbar with 5 other supboards...... Eventually came in as getting dark but wind still increasing. Perhaps tomorrow !!

Arrived lunch time to a good breeze but as i knew the tide was dropping I went slightly bigger than norm. Turned out to be a good move as after an hour or so the wind began to drop.

On the water at 5pm and what a session. Missed the sandbar swell by about 1 hour but still good in the high tide. More controlled nopw back on SW winds. Could'nt quite nail the backloops but good air time. Amazed only 4 of us out.

Arrived lunch time to 5.4 weather and took out my 93 freestyle. After 1 hour the wind realy kicked in and came in for 4.7, but Matt also came in and nicked in so 5m for me. Turned out 5m was a good call with some stonking airtime. Cant do tricks Pozo style so sticked with airtime. Roll on tomorrow

Hoping for a sea breeze I changed to the formula kit but the 1st race we were all drifting again. 2nd race looking good and was planing (if pumping) before the start but then the wind eased and could not quite get it going. Finished the race and then half an hour later the wind kicked in. Decided best to leave Hayling before the everyone else.

Have to say this is the best event I have done and will be back. Must try and get more people next year.
Just the atmosphere makes it worth entering.

Went down Friday night and celebrated Matts 21st in style. Woke up with no energy Saturday morning so missed the 1st race. Joined in (drifted) for the rest having totally the wrong kit. This was a day for old floaty kit with dagger boards. Finished the night off with live music and then back to the beach hut for a well earned kip.

Almost perfect. Good waves and well powered up. Almost completing back loops just needed a bit more west in the wind. Shame the wind dropped off towards the evening although when we derigged the wind came back up.

Was hoping today was going to be big. I had lent my kit to Matt and a mate leaving me only a 6.1 or 4.7. Knowing it was going to get windy went 4.7. Big mistake as wind never kicked in even tho good waves at high tide. Must be more selfish next time.....
