Huge thanks to John for making this such an excellent day. Turned up with only a 6.5m and 99l due to low wind forecast, only to find that I needed to at least double my body weight to hold on to that! Hugely grateful to John for lending me his sail, and to Stephen for rigging them all for me, on what was a glorious windy sunny Saturday!
It was really lovely to catch up with a few people too, and I hope we'll be down again before too long - the boys are already making a play for more trips to see the other children....

It was brilliant to finally go windsurfing after a way too long maternity leave....... and to see so many faces that I knew. The day was perfect - nice and sunny (so the kids could play on the beach with their new triplet friends), blue sky, white clouds and a steady wind.
Wasn't sure if I was completely overpowered at times or just very weak and out of practice, but had a great afternoon hanging on anyway - it took me so long to rig a 6.5m there was no way I was changing down!
Many many thanks to Bill and Heather for a fantastic BBQ back at the house. What a lovely evening catching up with everyone.
