Nice little session. Apart from the gusty conditions, patchy spots and also the bitter cold wind. Although it wasn't northerly it felt like it had come straight from siberia which would be pretty amazing considering the wind was from the west WSW.

All good fun though:)

Made use of the great Northerlies yesterday 4.0m was just right for the gusts. 80L evo
Good fun at Calshot by the activities centre. Nice little waves .

It was pretty consistent with some mighty gusts thrown in just to add to the fun.

1st time i've sailed at Calshot, all in all a good days windsurf..

I might invest in a neoprene gimp hat as my poor bonce did get a bit cold...

Just realised that I haven't posted in my diary since last year. I have had quite a few decent windsurfs mainly at Hill head

Not any off the above locations but Eastney instead..My new closest location..

The wind was pretty much dead onshore and didn't look to windy.. until I went out then it picked up.

Everything felt wrong the board 95L, the fin 32cm and the 6.5m sail. 1/2 later came in packed up and went home...enuff said..

It was still too windy for a 5m sail. This time i did bring my smaller sails 4 & 4.5m but alas I totally forgot that they would not fit on a 430 mast...So back out on the 5m...

Currently looking for a decent 370 mast and probably a new mast extension...I now know what I would like the misses to buy me for chrimbo..

Sun was out and very windy.. Unfortunately the smallest sail I had with me was a 5m which in the very frequent gusts was far too overpowered.

Tomorrow should be much of the same so I will definitely pack my 4m.

I only windsurfed the other week and boy has the water dropped off in temperature. My hands were freezing and its back into the winter booties..

However I popped into Andy Biggs on the way home and bought myself some early chrimbo prezzies a pair mittens and some Atan boots.. Happy days..

mmm, not really worth any recognition. Very poor little session after a number of months away from the water.

Just thought I would say that 'Shanty town' beach as the locals I met described it, would be really good in the right wind strength.

Hopefully Tomorrow Wednesday will be good, forecast was looking promising.

Great session, best of the week, Really strong and consistent wind.

Probably should have had a smaller sail but couldn't be bothered to re-rig.

Right out at sea, the swell was offering up some excellent ramps and some serious airtime...

Yet another good session in the afternoon sun. Very patchy, overpowered in the gusts and vice versa in the lulls..

Good fun though.

Excellent day windsurfing, Sun was out and there were some nice ramps to play around on.
