One of those afternoons when it all comes together.
Sun, well peeking out from behind clouds towards the end.
Too much wind for the AHD 70cm and 52cm fin so change to the carve.
After a few moments to remember how to get it going I was flying again.
Managed half a dozen wobbly gybes, retired for a few gin and tonics.

OK I left it a bit late and have worn the paint off the tip of my 52cm fin.
Plenty of wind, just shrt of the wet stuff.
Back tomorrow.

Hi
Forecasts proved wrong for this weekend. Found myself at Sandbanks and rigged a 10.1. But a fella coming in said "Don't bother!" So I didn't even put on my wetsuit.
Sunday: Not enough gas for Poole. And as it seemed marginal in Mudeford Harbour I ended up staying.
Rigged 10.1m again and was lucky to plane fairly consistantly. Guys on 8.5m weren't getting there. Anyway, got it together for for gybes and then went off to see the American Car rally.
About 20 vintage Cadillac, Oldsmobiles. There was a 2.8 litre Capri and a Ferrari 360 and lots of thunderous motorbikes.
